hi , welcome to my webpage

hi, my name is james carpenter, i'm 14 and i go to eastbury school. My hobbies inculde golf, bike riding and going out with mates.

I came to the summer school at robert clack school because i thought it would be a good experience and i am also very intrested in science. I would like to find out alot more about science and all the things it has done for us and will do in the future.

In the summer school we have looked at a variety of things to with science like vaccines where we went to the london school of hygiene and tropical medicine(click link to find out more) where we looked at different diseases like asthma which is caused by dustmites and flowers and malaria which is carried by mosquites. We also looked at how to use a map and how it is very useful in science.

We also went to the natural history museum (click link to find out more) where we looked at a variety of things from world war one and two and how the world of science changed our lives forever.

Another thing i went to what i thought was really fun and tiring was a day out at the stubbers outdoor adventure club were we had to work as a team and help each other and i made a lot of new friends and i thought i was the best day out of the two weeks.

But it wasn't just the trips that were fun, i had a lot of fun in the classroom too. Like playing scientific games and doing group presentations. Also in the computer room we looked at a webpage creater called dreamweaver 4 where you can make your own webpage.
